Lawn directly south of the Mount Washington Auto Road entrance.
There is free parking in the parking lots along the public road at the base.
There are flags and banners at the entrance to the auto road that provide clues to the wind direction and velocity.

RESTRICTIONS

Don’t do anything stupid, many people will be watching.
Avoid flying too close to the people and vehicles waiting to start their trip to the top just in case you are not as good as you think you are.

HAZARDS

The lawn has an interesting contour, with a small ridge running north-south along the centerline.
People occasionally use the lawn as a picnic spot.
Limited space.
South winds rotor over the hill directly south of the lawn.
