Purpose

The Vermont Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association is a public-benefit non-profit organization that promotes the sport of soaring foot-launchable aircraft in Vermont and adjacent New England states.

We work with government agencies, corporations, and private individuals to insure and regulate flight activities at multiple sites in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Organization

Elected officers and appointed volunteers operate the association under the collective direction of our members and bylaws. Although we come from many states and countries, most of us live in New England.

Affiliations

We are a registered chapter of the United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association, the national self-regulating body for our sport.

We receive financial support from the Foundation for Free Flight, a charity dedicated to the preservation of hang gliding and paragliding in the United States.

Many of us support the Cloudbase Foundation, a charity that helps children wherever we fly.
