Hidden Field

So named because this LZ is not visible from launch. Once airborne and up or out front the field comes into view. This is the large field to the east of the condominiums and is preferred by hang glider pilots. The field slopes downhill to the north, most hang glider pilots prefer to land down wind up hill. A wide runway has been mowed in the field. Access is on Pinkham Road across from (insert name of inn here).

The field slopes downhill into the prevailing wind. Most hang glider pilots find the slope matches their glide. The field is rough cut and the ground somewhat uneven. Where the grass is not cut it can be tall. There are some trees and bushes in the field.
